In 2020, Lakeview Golf & Country Club went up for sale in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate, New York. LVGCC is situated on 250 acres and is home to an 18-hole, par 70 golf course overlooking Owasco Lake. American golf course architect Tom Bendelow designed the 6,564yd course with a 19th bonus hole in 1916.
Amenities include a driving range, practice chipping and putting green, men's and women's locker rooms, a snack shack (weekends), and a fully stocked golf shop. They also offer a full-service bar, restaurant, and banquet facilities. Their dining rooms, which have a total seating capacity of 300 overlook several holes of the golf course.
Before being sold in 2023 for $1.45M, I proposed a course refresh and brand overhaul.
